The existing team with Essential are expert at analyzing an organization’s Alcohol and Drug Policy and tailoring solutions that will best meet the needs of all stakeholders.  We also excel in dealing with the more challenging aspects of these evaluations, including dealing with prescription medication, issues related to legal marijuana, and client non-compliance

Also, we have the technical ability to accept referral and payment for these services online, to provide real-time case tracking for all SAP cases, and real-time reporting of an organization's use of the SAP services, including timelines of key milestones in the SAP process, assessment, and report delivery.  While organizations can customize the reporting, two ‘off the shelf’ services are:

 

1. Standard (DOT or NON-DOT) SAP Assessment
   This report follows the SAP guidelines published by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).  Our assessors can provide reports that are defensible under scrutiny from the DOT.  These reports are brief and contain minimal information.  There is an initial assessment and report, followed by a follow-up appointment and report.
    

2. Enhanced SAP Assessment
   Like the Standard Assessment, this intervention involves an initial assessment and report, followed by a follow-up appointment and report.  For this level of report, there is more information included in the initial report, including the results of the objective test measure, as well as a characterization of the employee’s substance use.  (recreational, substance misuse, substance abuse, substance dependence). Additionally, the customer has access to a custom portal that allows them to track the case and see real-time updates of their employee’s progress through the program.
