Structured Relapse Prevention

The Structured Relapse Prevention (SRP) program was developed to meet the needs of clients who have successfully completed drug and/or alcohol treatment and would benefit from assistance designed to avoid relapse.   The SRP program helps to make sure the client is establishing healthy patterns as part of their recovery.  This program also helps some employers meet their need to provide appropriate programming for employees who are working in safety-sensitive areas.  The SRP program offers two years of support for clients.

The sessions begin weekly and gradually become less frequent as the client gains more abilities in their recovery.  Optionally, each SRP client will sign a Release of Information which allows a specific individuals from the client’s Union, employer, 12-Step sponsor, or a dedicated friend or family member to receive information about the client’s participation in the program.  This can assist with accountability and motivation towards recovery.
