Accommodation Screen

For customers who primarily want an opinion whether they are obliged to provide accommodation for an employee due to substance use disorder, this is a low-cost, timely, and effective option.  The employee participates in a telephone clinical interview with a SAP that includes the administration of an objective test measure.  The results are reviewed with consideration of current guidance from the Human Rights Commission of Canada around the accommodation of substance use disorder.  The customer receives a single report that indicates an opinion as to the need to accommodate the employee.  Where indicated, the employee may be recommended to complete a full SAP Assessment in order to determine treatment, accommodation, and return-to-work requirements.
