This is a unique and specialized program offered by Essential that focuses on the needs of individuals struggling with substance use issues, who are not necessarily in safety-sensitive work roles.  This creates an ‘in-between’ service between the completely confidential EAP counselling and the strictly structured SAP Assessment.  This intervention allows clients to be connected with a Certified Addiction Specialist to help assist with their situation.

 

The Specialized Addiction Case Management service is telephone-based.  Treatment plans are co-created with the client offering flexibility and choice.  These resources may include funded community-based addiction programs, outpatient programs, EAP counselling, in-patient treatment, and other appropriate supports as determined by the Case Manager and the client.
